For the Moua family, the land is their lifeline, and working the soil is in their blood. Forced from their homeland of Vietnam in 1975, they carried their skills and love of farming with them as they found refuge in the United States. Madison Gas and Electric’s Living in Balance initiative (www.livinginbalancemadison.com/stories/meet-the-mouas) contracted me for compelling photography that would accompany their video highlighting the Moua’s story.
